Meaning ‘of the sea’ in Gaelic, the ephemeral compositions of discarded knotted rope, rusted iron scraps and decaying seaweed, washed up by the tide onto Scottish beaches, inspired Lyndsay’s jewellery.
Drawing is a vital part of her working process, using mark-making in mixed media to develop abstract impressions from the coastal landscape. Her jewellery is based on the drawn line, creating tactile pieces which vary with each iteration
A matte-finish silver ring inlaid with 18ct yellow gold wires, in a unique, sketch-like pattern based on abstractions of the Scottish coast.
Creating a subtle contrast with the silver, the warm tones of the gold are mirrored by the beautiful faceted spessartine garnet, adding a bit of sparkle.
With a highly polished interior, these rings are comfortable to wear every day - perfect for a special occasion! Hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office.

Handmade long tubular stud earrings, decorated with a beautiful contemporary pattern inlaid in copper wire, inspired by beach finds and the Scottish coast.
These statement earrings are hollow-form, making them lightweight and comfortable to wear from morning to evening.
The inlaid pattern for each earring is laid out by hand, creating distinctive marks every time, similar to wood grain, or a drawing.

A matte-finish sterling silver band, inlaid with a sunny twist of 18ct Yellow Gold, and accented with a flush-set sparkling faceted Citrine. The inside of the ring is highly polished, for comfortable everyday wear.

The band measures approximately 5.7mm x 1.9mm, with a 2mm faceted Citrine, responsibly sourced from Gemstones Brazil.
